Wegman to open the first location on Long Island

February 26 at 9am all are invited to the DSW plaza at the corner of Middle County Road and Moriches Road in Lake Grove for the opening of Wegman. This is the first location on Long Island and it's in Suffolk County near the Smith Haven Mall.

The company announced originally on April 25, 2022 and now its coming to a realty.

In business since 1916, Wegmans now operates 106 stores in seven states and has more than 50,000 employees chainwide.

It is one of the recognized chain supermarket with departments for meat, fish, and flowers, plus prepared foods in the east coast.
