Warrants for pot bust to delete from 1978

The Manhattan District Attorney's office will start deleting warrants for marijuana arrests dated back to 1978. The office will not mail out any letters. A new program called, "Decline to Prosecute" is in effect for smoking and possession of marijuana in Manhattan. However, other borough's DA office has not stated if they will follow the same policy. The warrant includes any residents busted for pot in Manhattan will be removed.
