Vacant home in Kew Garden Hills destroyed by fire early morning

FDNY reported a fire at 138-34 78th Road. This is a private dwelling in Kew Garden Hills. The fire started around 6am.

Over 100 firefighters worked on the scene and brought the fire under control around 8am. No one was inside the home during the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
