Bullets update for the Memorial Day weekend

Police reported 13 people shot with bullets inside their bodies and 2 dead over the Memorial Day weekend. Multiple locations reported shots fired. Two murders were in Brooklyn.

On Sunday night before midnight, a male shot on Liberty Avenue and 171st Street in Richmond Hill. Last night around 3am, a male shot at the intersection of Sutphin Boulevard and Ferndale Avenue in Jamaica. The same time another male shot at Jamaica Avenue near Eldert Lane in Woodhaven.

Multiple shots fired in Ozone Park around 6:30am when residents woke to the bullet sound at 133rd Avenue and 127 Street. On Saturday around 11:30pm, shots were fired at 27th Ave and 8th Street intersection in Astoria. The same day around 5:30pm, shots were fired at Rockaways.

Still Chicago leads with 29 bullet victims and 5 dead for the weekend.
