Update on the New Hyde Parking shooting

As of this time, here is the latest.

The Nassau County Homicide Detectives will issue a press statement later.

According to the security, the shooting occurred in the garage of the medical building on Marcus Avenue across ShopRite entrance near New Hyde Park Road.

The female shot, 35 years old nurse working at the medical office died at the local hospital according to one source.

Police narrowed the search to the main suspect known to the female now on the hunt.

From another security, the female was followed to the garage and heard several gunshots around 4:15pm. No confirmation on what caused the incident.

One source confirmed both the female and male suspect knew each other.
