Update on the CIP northbound incident

Police confirmed the motorcyclist identified as an off duty NYPD officer Rick Holt died at the hospital. Charges are pending for two drivers who were allegedly speeding on Cross Island Parkway northbound at Bell Blvd where the incident occurred. The officer was a veteran with Manhattan local precinct and a resident of New Hyde Park. He leaves his wife who is a partner at The Moonlight Pub on Hillside Avenue and Langdale Street in New Hyde Park. The bar/pub is a frequent for my readers and the community. RIP Rick.
