Bad accident on CIP

Cross Island Parkway northbound at Bell Blvd reporting motorcycle accident involving an off duty member of service. Several vehicles were hit on the highway. Two lanes closed. NYPD setting up route to a local hospital on Booth Memorial Avenue and Main Street for transporting the officer. Ongoing investigation.
Reporting a speeding vehicle hit the motorcycle and the motorcyclist was thrown off the road in critical condition and unconscious.
