Two suspects busted for robbery in East Williston

Nassau County police reported the arrest of Ariana Meadows, 26 and Joseph Santalucia, 26, both of East Williston and charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and other charges. The incident happened on April 9 around 12:20am when a 50 year old man who met through dating app was waiting in his vehicle at the intersection of Roslyn Road and Downing Road in East Williston.

Meadows entered the front passenger side and shortly, Santalucia hopped into the back seat. Santalucia demanded the victim drive and later stopped at Latham Lane. Then Santalucia demanded to drive to Congress Avenue while displaying a weapon behind the victim's head. At the stop, the victim was robbed of his wallet and Santalucia took off on foot. Shortly, Meadows exited the vehicle. The victim alerted police and both were arrested at their residence. They will be arraigned on April 10 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
