Two separate fatalities involving pedestrians on Long Island

The NCPD is investigating a hit and run in Valley Stream with the pedestrian dead on the scene. The incident was reported on Monday around 8pm on Dutch Broadway by Ash Street where a male was laying on the road after a hit and run. So far no arrests. Also, a 24 year old female victim who was struck by a vehicle in South Farmingdale on Friday has reported died on Monday from the injuries. The incident was reported around 7pm on W Chestnut Street near Spencer Street. The driver remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with the police. Both incidents are continuing with the investigation.
