Two separate dead body investigation in Queen and Long Island

The SCPD reported a body of a male was found inside a home on Long Island. This is on Main Avenue in Mastic Beach, Suffolk County.

This morning the NYPD reported a body of a female was found inside a home in Woodhaven. This is on 95th Avenue after midnight when calls came in for a welfare check from a family member. ESU confirmed this was a 58 year old female.

The medical examiners transported both bodies to conduct autopsies.

Also in Suffolk County, a neighbor's dispute turned into shooting inside a home. This is in Ridge where police say a woman was shot on Woodbrook Drive around 12:30pm this afternoon.

ESU removed the suspect from the home and EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

The investigation continues.
