Two gone one came on Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows

The long time insurance house on Union Turnpike has closed doors for good. At the same time, the long time Italian eatery, Acquista Trattoria next block also closed doors for good on the corner now remains vacant. This is by 176th Street near Utopia Parkway.

A new bakery is opening up at the former insurance house next to the Subway franchise.

Bakery and related cafes are now in demand for the new demographic in NYC especially around schools and start-up companies.

According to multiple real estate agents, the area is in demand for grab and go over eating or chatting inside mostly catered to the local college students.

The usual spot, Cold Stone Creamery on the corner of Utopia Parkway remains the busiest location in Fresh Meadows.
