Basement fire extended to a home in Ridgewood

FDNY reported heavy fire at a home in Ridgewood. This is on 68th Road at the location, 6020 when the fire started this morning around 7:30am. The fire marshal reported this was a third alarm.

EMS transported all the injured to local hospitals.

The building dept stated the home was attached between two homes when the fire started in the basement.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

This is the third heavy fire incident in Queens.
