Two cops rescued a man fell down on the train tracks in Corona

On Saturday before 2pm, two police officers, Officers Jonathan Valle and David Carnarte who were assigned to the Mobile Force Field Post saw a man fall onto the tracks. Immediately they ran to the scene and helped remove him.

This is at the Roosevelt Avenue and 90th Street station in Corona. Officer Valle jumped to the tracks and removed the man and Office Carnate was on the platform to assist. Another good samaritan helped with the hoist both from the tracks before the train was approaching close. The man, 23 years old from the Bronx was taken to a local hospital now in stable condition. Police didn’t disclose what caused the man to fall onto the tracks.

Both officers were not injured and it's just another day on the job for them who are hailed as heros.

Ongoing investigation.
