Trump met with Adams before the weekend

The NYC Mayor is in Florida meeting with President Trump today. The trip is funded by taxpayers since it's for the city's situation involving migrants and federal funds.

Currently about 30% of hotels in Manhattan were started with federal funds to house migrants while employing locals to service the operation. Now it's being funded by the city using taxpayer funds after the federal government stopped the cash line.

The Mayor has not disclosed the subject of the meeting to the public yet until return back to the city.

The city is emphasizing on three sectors heavily, migrants, housing and focus on low income residents depending on vouchers over everything else.

Meanwhile, the elected officials especially the progressives were disappointed with the Mayor’s intention of meeting with Trump as usual creating excuses.
