Traffic agent brutally attacked in Elmhurst

Police are on the hunt for a suspect wanted for beating down an NYPD traffic agent. It happened on May 29 around 3:30pm on Roosevelt Avenue in Elmhurst. The agent, a male, 46 was attacked from behind and was beaten with serious injuries. The suspect took off toward unknown direction and the victim was taken to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
