The pilot program of Atlantic Ticket for LIRR had 23 million tickets sold

LIRR introduced a pilot program named The Atlantic Ticket offering discount to assigned locations. The ride is $5, less than the $7.75 assigned by the MTA. The routes are between Brooklyn and southern Queens within 10 stations which are Jamaica, Locust Manor, Laurelton, Rosedale, Queens Village to East New York. The $60 Atlantic Ticket comes with a weekly MetroCard at no extra charge. Since it launched, 23 million tickets has been sold. The same program supporters are calling MTA to expand all around but MTA stated still in the discussion stage.
