The New York City wave for the future is moving to the far left

NYC is on a roll with the far left and the main lead, socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is working hard traveling nationwide with another socialist Bernie Sanders in a private jet promoting the agenda of progressivism under democracy.

With crime up 57%, poverty rate at 45% soon to be 55% and increasing and health is at the last place nationwide, most of the NYC residents don't mind voting for the same agenda.

With the NYPD budget reduced by $1 billion since 2020 and leaving 500 plus gang related activities unchecked which is now under Homeland Security according to NYPD during a press statement in 2024, most NYC residents are against Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) under President Trump. Under then President Biden, ICE was not active in NYC.

With the NYS budget to be announced soon after most of the decisions to where it will go was finalized today, the Governor will release the highlights soon. As for NYC budget, it’s a disappointing number according to the progressives since the forecasted number for 2026 is $114.6 billion compared to $112.4 billion for 2025 which is not enough to sustain their needs.

This is where the next Mayoral race is a wait and watch. If it’s Andrew Cuomo, the budget will maintain the same level with slight increase as the current Mayor. If Zohran Mamdani wins, the budget will increase by adding more enforcements to drain taxpayers to cough up dough to fund more in favor of the far left. Free bus rides, more cuts to NYPD eliminating SRG, reducing cars and more public transportation, increasing property taxes and resuming migrant services are some of the agenda outlined.
