Taxpayers need to add more hours for a newbie

As of 5pm today, close to 430,000 people have applied for Section 8, a voucher that will cover the rent paid by taxpayers. Of that half are valid and processing.

According to NYCHA insiders, that number of applicants will go beyond millions.

The housing authority has opened up the waiting list after 15 years. Despite being the worst slumlord in NYC, the NYCHA that tops the list is now working to fill up the public housing with people whose rent will be paid by taxpayers.

At the same time, non profit organizations and tenant lawyer services funded by the city and state will be making more money to provide services for this sector.

This program apart from the migrants will cost the taxpayers more so they are advised to work longer hours.

Approximately 85,000 Section 8 vouchers and over 25,000 owners currently participate in the program in NYC. The eligibility is low and moderate income families rent housing in public and private market.

The application opened midnight for Monday and the deadline is June 9.

Once accepted, it's the same as relaxing without pressure and more time to practice yoga.
