Suspect wanted for hit and run in Westbury

Police are seeking public info of a hit and run occurred on Westbury Blvd near Commander Avenue in Westbury.

It happened on February 25 around 6:45pm when a 56 year old Hempstead woman identified as Maureen Benjamin was struck and killed.

Police are searching around and believe the suspect maybe a New Hyde Park resident after barrier check points has been setup at Exits of both Northern State Parkway and Long Island Expressway.
