Suspect in custody for the sexual attack in Flushing

Police arrested Roy Higgins, 29 on Thursday morning after sexual attack in Flushing. The incident was reported on April 21 around 10am. Higgins is accused of following a 22 year old female victim inside the subway station of Main Street to the Kissena Blvd main road. From there, the victim was chased to a lobby of a building, forcibly restrained and removed his pants.

The victim managed to escape and alerted police. 

Higgins is charged with attempted criminal sex act, public lewdness and unlawful imprisonment.
