NYC to have the first Japan Day Parade

Every year Japan Day festival at Central Park celebrates Japanese culture, art, tradition, and food at Central Park. The event is designed to introduce culture to New Yorkers and to connect with the local Japanese community. In 2022, Japan Day is organizing the first-ever Japan Parade in New York City on Saturday, May 14.

The parade is on Central Park West between 68 and 81st Streets from 1pm to 4pm. Open to the public.
