Suspect busted for attempted burglary in East Meadow

The NCPD reports the arrest of a Copiague man for an Attempted Burglary that occurred on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 10:40 am in East Meadow. According to detectives, First Precinct officers responded to a residence on Hempstead Turnpike for an attempted burglary that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a male victim, 35, had observed a male subject attempting to gain entry to his residence while viewing security camera footage. A subsequent investigation by responding officers led them to identify and locate Tyler Rock, 33, of 383 28th Street a short distance away and place him into custody without incident. Defendant Rock has been charged with Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, June 14, 2021 in Mineola. (Info from Nassau County police)
