Street vendors to replace empty store fronts in subway stations

A local politician, State Senate Jessica Ramos is working on a new bill to have MTA to approve street vendors in Queens to replace empty stores inside subway stations. This will minimize sidewalk space on the streets. If approved, a pilot program will start in her district, Corona for 7 train riders. The bill is in the early stage.
