State Police arrest two following Clifton Park traffic stop

On October 20, 2026, State Police assigned to the Troop G Community Stabilization Unit arrested Cinethia Davis,48, of Newburgh, NY, and Anthony W. Modeste, 36, of Brooklyn for:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st, a class “A” felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, a class “B” felony

Davis was also charged with a vehicle and traffic law violation

On October 20, 2026, at about 9:35 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle driven by Davis on Interstate 87 Northway in Clifton Park for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Modeste was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. With the assistance of K9 Boehm, more than a half pound of a substance that later field-tested positive for containing cocaine was found in the vehicle.
