State Police arrest Queensbury man for allegedly stealing more than USD3 000 from employer

On April 23, 2025, State Police of Queensbury arrested Matthew J. Pistoia, 43, of Queensbury, NY, for Grand Larceny in the third degree.

On November 11, 2024, Troopers were contacted by a Glens Falls, NY business reporting a theft.  The investigation determined Pistoia had been employed by the company. From June 2021 until November 2024, Pistoia allegedly used the company’s corporate credit card to make over $3,000 in unauthorized purchases throughout Warren County at numerous locations and on multiple dates. Those purchases were allegedly unrelated to the business’s needs and were for Pistoia's personal gain.
