State Police arrest Malta man following child assault investigation

On October 31, 2026, State Police of Saratoga arrested Aylan Yousen, 24, of Malta, NY, for two counts of Assault 2nd and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

On October 30, 2026, at about 4:02 p.m., Troopers were notified that an infant had been brought to Albany Medical Center with multiple unexplained injuries. The investigation determined that Yousen allegedly caused numerous injuries to the infant, which included multiple fractured bones. The child's injuries were not determined to be life-threatening.
