State Police arrest East Schodack woman follow road rage incident

On April 26, 2025, State Police of Latham, with the assistance of the Guilderland Police Department, arrested Brittany B. Alvarado, 31, of East Schodack, for Reckless Endangerment in the second degree, Menacing in the second degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

On April 26, 2025, at about 2:26 p.m., Troopers responded to the area of the Crossgates Mall parking lot in Guilderland, NY, for the report of a road rage incident involving a handgun. The investigation determined during a road rage incident on I-90 in Albany, NY, Alvarado who is not known to the victim, allegedly displayed what appeared to be a handgun. During the reported incident, a child under the age of 16 was in Alvarado’s vehicle. An imitation weapon was later located within Alvarado vehicle, matching the victim’s description of the weapon displayed.
