State Police arrest Bronx man on Interstate 87 for drug possession

On April 25, 2025, State Police arrested Jeikob Javier Guzman, 34, of Bronx, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, Tampering with Evidence, Resisting Arrest and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree.

On April 24, 2025, at approximately 11:23 p.m., State Police initiated a traffic stop on a BMW X5 traveling northbound on Interstate 87 in the village of Ardsley.

While engaging with the driver, identified as Guzman, Guzman was observed throwing a clear plastic bag containing a white substance down the embankment of the road.

An investigation determined that Guzman was in possession of 18 grams of cocaine and metal knuckles.

Guzman was transported to SP Tarrytown for processing and was arraigned in the Town of Greenburgh Court.

Guzman reappeared in the Town of Greenburgh Court on April 28, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing.
