Speed camera added on Union Turnpike in Queens Village

First the NYC Dept of Transportation added a speed camera down the hill on Union Turnpike eastbound and 233 Street. Today, westbound Union Turnpike and 235th Street has a new speed camera before the traffic light on 234th Street. The officials from DOT are now reviewing six locations in Glen Oaks, Floral Park and Bellerose to add more speed cameras. One of the workers stated Union Turnpike and 265th Street is a spot they have affixed for cameras but a timetable has not been disclosed.
