Shooting investigation on Long Island

Earlier today, the SCPD were called to a home in Lake Ronkonkoma of an EDP with a gun. This is on Wiggins Avenue in Suffolk County. When police arrived, there was a bullet exchange involved at the scene.

A family member was escorted out and stated the male was drunk and disorderly. Shortly there were shots of gunfire erupted from the home. ESU worked their way to the inside of the home and found the male dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

EMS is checking on other people inside the home.
