Sexual abuse and assault suspect tranferred to jail from Glen Oaks

Police reported of sexual harassment and other sex crimes in Glen Oaks during the past few months. The incidents were reported in the vicinity of 263rd to 260th Streets between 73rd and 75th Avenues. The alleged suspect identified as Nashon T Thomas and was staying at 75-59 263rd Street. Several residents in Glen Oaks reported its not safe to walk alone in the vicinity of the public park on 260 Street. After the report, Thomas has been relocated to Nassau County Jail Correctional Center in East Meadow, Nassau County pending investigation. He has been arrested in Dec. 23, 2003 for Sexual Abuse 1st:Sexual Contact With Individual Less Than 11 Years Old and convicted in June 2004 with one year jail time.
