Seniors are on the edge in Queens

More seniors are victims of unprovoked attacks in Queens.

One victim died from injuries. This incident caused uproar in the Bangladesh community in Jamaica where a 76 year old victim was assaulted for no reason after a dispute started by the suspect on April 5 around 3:30pm at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and 165th Street. Today, his death was announced by his family and police are on the hunt for the homicide suspect.

On April 9, a 71 year old male was getting off the Q64 bus at the intersection of Queens Blvd and 108th Street in Forest Hills when a suspect started a verbal dispute resulting in assault. The victim remains stabilized at the local hospital.

Both incidents are under investigation.
