Cops continue to patrol Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights

After locals complained of illegal vendors on the sidewalks of Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, cops are on patrol continuously. Two days earlier the NYPD raided all illegal vendors and confiscated merchandise that was apparently stolen. Most of the vendors are migrants and the NYC Mayor stated due to legal authorization not being processed, the migrants have no choice.

The Mayor quoted, "Some of the problems we're facing, you know, in our city, this is the byproduct of bringing thousands of people to a city and telling them they cannot work. This is what we're seeing."

The other is prostitution but that's an oh well very difficult to enforce as places are changing locations on a regular basis.

Arrests are not enforced but shut down is all the city can do.
