Robberies forced store items locked in New Hyde Park

The CVS store on Hillside Avenue and Hillside Blvd in New Hyde Park reported robberies constantly as the management has items behind the counter and locked in place for certain aisles. As of last month, in one day over $2,000 worth of merchandise was cleared. Severa workers reported not to confront for their safety but some were fired for that. At the same time, police also reported other CVS locations faced the same issues in Nassau County.

Police didn't disclose details if there were any arrests.
