Love is almost full with shelters and hotels in NYC

Under the new DHS T42 rule, all Venezuelans are being expelled back to Mexico unless they have sponsors. This was announced by the Federal side. The reason was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, NYC is seeking local residents for sponsors for migrants while the Biden Admin announced all must undergo public safety screening and must be vaxxed.

As for the love update, Queens shelters have allotted almost 5,000 migrants including undisclosed hotels according to the Dept of Homeless Services.

The NY Governor stated all migrants need work permits in order to work before moving to other areas out of NYC within statewide. As for this, migrants need to wait six months for a work permit after applying for asylum. Until then, it's the Mayor's issue.

The NYC Mayor is going forth with the emergency shelter task as most hotels are filled. Now the Mayor will need to find places to allocate more migrants coming this weekend from Texas.
