Robberies continue to spike toward one spot in Queens

This morning police reported more robbery victims within Jackson Heights, Corona and Elmhurst.

The latest robbery incidents reported on 91st Street and 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights. The incident occurred around 6:30am. Two suspects, males, Hispanic robbed several victims of their backpacks and took off. Around 6am, two victims were robbed on 102nd Street by 39th Avenue in Corona. One victim reported to the police $200 cash was taken.

Today, the NYPD released surveillance photos of suspects wanted for robbery in Elmhurst. The incident was reported on November 20 around 5pm. The victim was assaulted and removed backpack and took off with the scooter.

This is the same neighborhood that supports the Defund NYPD where not only robberies are high but also prostitution on Roosevelt Avenue. Several non profit groups visit Roosevelt Avenue and speak with sex workers for support and counsel using taxpayer funds on regular basis. This is the new plan under which the Governor signed.
