Resilient Acquisitions has launched in NYC

Anything to please the developers, NYC has launched Resilient Acquisitions today. It's a new program funded by taxpayers to allow property owners living by the flood prone area to sell and go away. The first pilot program will start on Jewel Streets, the 12-block neighborhood straddles East New York, Brooklyn and Lindenwood, Queens and is known to residents as “The Hole” due to its sunken streets. As usual with the government, acquisitions are a long-term process, and it may take several years for acquisitions to begin. If successful, then more locations will be announced mainly in Queens including Bayside by the Cross Island Parkway which is a flood zone area. From there, new Babylon like towers will be planned for future developments.

Hey, the city is in a housing crisis under climate crisis also.
