Raccoons are the new love with vaxx

The NYC Dept of Health will provide vaxx to raccoons starting today. This is to prevent rabies from spreading around. Workers from the health department will toss small packaged baits into the wooded areas in NYC including Queens. From there, the raccoons will find the baits and eat them. However, if the bait is eaten by other animals, it can cause severe vomiting and other bad conditions so pets are to be monitored from such areas. Locations are not tracked due to baits being dropped from helicopters into the marsh and wooded areas.

The program will continue until October.
