RIP to NYPD retired in Floral Park

He loved his job, community, family, friends and everything else but one stood apart and that's his church.

Today, Our Lady of Victory at Floral Park announced the passing of their member who was an usher at the 12pm mass, volunteer and involved in just about everything around the church.

A local parishioner says the incident was a medical episode after clearing snow around the church today as a volunteer. However, the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Funeral details will be announced later this week.

He was 60, survived by his wife and three children.

The church will continue to organize events on Zoom for all.
