Queens NY man sentenced for smuggling migrants across northern border

A man from Queens has received an 18-month prison sentence for illegally transporting almost 100 individuals from Canada into the United States. Two individuals, one of whom is a corrections officer from Michigan, have been apprehended and charged with attempting to bring drugs into a correctional facility.
