Girl 12 followed and grabbed in Queens NYPD

A man is charged with stalking and attempting to seize a 12-year-old girl in Queens on Monday, as reported by the NYPD.

The young girl was strolling near 81st Street and 31st Avenue at approximately 3:30 p.m. when she became aware of the man trailing her, according to police. He is then alleged to have grabbed her hand, as stated by officials. The suspect fled the area heading north on 81st Street, according to the authorities.

The girl did not sustain any injuries during the event, as confirmed by officials.
