Protest and election time with migrants in NYC

Today there was a protest in front of local council member Linda Lee's office on Bell Blvd and 73rd Avenue in Bayside against housing migrants at Creedmoor.

According to Lee who did not reach out to the protesters but remained no show stated, the City Council has no decision on the location or placement and it's up to the Mayor.

Meanwhile, 4,000 new migrants are coming to NYC this week from the open border south and the Mayor is welcoming them to the overloaded crisis in the city. With elections coming in November, the city is searching for more locations to house migrants except the 9 progressive in Congress, City Council, Senate and Assembly districts.

The Mayor is not in the same line with the progressives and needs their same victory lap like Hochul had for the last election to have the majority control.

It’s all about local elected officials working to keep their victory without losing.

Losing an election especially in NYC is heartbreaking for anyone.
