Property damage accident leads to drug arrest in the town of Lisbon

On May 27, 2025, the New York State Police Troop B-Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team charged Anthony J. Foti, age 42, of Ogdensburg, New York, with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (D- Felonies), Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (A- Misdemeanor) and Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs (Misdemeanor).

On May 27, 2025, at approximately 2:07 a.m., SP Ogdensburg Troopers responded to an accident on State Route 37 in the town of Lisbon.  During the course of the investigation, Troopers determined Foti to have been operating the vehicle impaired by drugs.  Foti was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of several containers with various pills determined to be controlled substances and also a quantity of cocaine.
