Pregnant real estate woman stabbed to death in Ridgewood

Police were called to an apartment building at 60-80 Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood reporting of one person stabbed to death. It happened on February 3 around 1am.

The victim, Jennifer Irigoyen, 35, a real estate agent was found stabbed to death while five months pregnant.

Several witnesses reported there was a commotion between the victim and a man yelling about the baby.

Police believe the suspect maybe the victim's boyfriend. Ongoing investigation.
