Fatal vehicular accident on Belt Parkway

Police reported fatal vehicular accident on Belt Parkway westbound near JFK Expressway in South Ozone Park.

It happened around 5am after their vehicle, a 2018 Dodge Charger hit a barrier and flipped upside down.

One person dead on the scene, a 24 year old male and another male, the driver is in critical condition at the hospital.

Police reported speed was the cause. Shortly. a 22 year old female arrested for DWI on the same spot after struck the vehicle that was upside down.

Highway CIS is investigating at the scene.
