Poor 263 and 268 Streets in Floral Park

Police reported more than ten assaults including felony on 263rd Street from Langston Avenue to Hillside Avenue. The same time, more than ten vehicles were stolen on 268 Street from Union Turnpike to Hillside Avenue. The incidents were reported between April 27 to May 1. Several residents reported of group homes involving teens in the area and wondered why they are always back to incidents after arrests. One resident reported blocks are targeted one by one until crime is complete before moving to the next sets.
