Police involved shooting in Dix Hills

Police closed off Northern State Parkway eastbound at Commack Road 1 after police involved shooting. The chase started after a driver refused to pull over and headed to NSP eastbound from Meadowbrook State Parkway. One perp in custody after shot. Multiple police vehicles on the road. Ongoing investigation. Now reporting the perp was suicidal and was flashing gun on the road until calls. The officer responding was NYS Trooper who was not injured.
