Modells filed for bankruptcy

The sporting good chain in the tri-state has filed for bankruptcy today and plans to close all stores. There are around 125 stores in the tri-state area. All stores will have liquidation starting this Friday. The first store was started in 1889 on Cortland Street in downtown Manhattan expanded to four generations.
