Police are reporting a sexual attack in Ridgewood

It happened on August 9 around 4am at the corner of Madison Street and Forest Avenue. A woman was sexually assaulted by a male, police reported as Middle Eastern wearing a white shirt and black pants and shoes while walking. The victim fought off her attacker and the perp took off toward northbound Forest Avenue. Police are searching around for the suspect. Ongoing investigation.
