Please volunteer to clean up Hillside Avenue in Hollis

This Saturday at 10am, all volunteers are invited to clean up Hillside Avenue. This is part of a non profit called Do Something that's going around nationwide. Just show up by 217th Street in Hollis if you have nothing else to do on Saturday morning. Great time to meet new people and help your community.

As for teens, earn volunteer hours controlled by the Queens Borough President's Office which are eligible for a $1,500 scholarship.

Moreover, it's a great event to meet the Queens Borough President himself in person.

This is the second location on Hillside Avenue announced for clean up which the sanitation dept don't have time or maybe budget after volunteers did so by 168 Street in August.

Open to the public.
